While many of us have experienced sympathy on either the giving or receiving end, are we aware of the larger concept of empathy and exactly what it means to be able to relate to our fellow man? Are merely living a life looking for sympathy from others or are we striving to live a life that gives us a broader concept of the trials and tribulations that are inherent with being human and actively learning to empathize and possibly better understand the plight of those in our life and beyond?
